WHEN BARACK OBAMA WAS INAUGURATED AS THE FORTY FOURTH PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES…HE WAS THE
SECOND AMERICAN PRESIDENT OF AFRICAN AMERICAN DESCENT!!!

BLOOD AND BROTHERHOOD: A Novel Of Love In A Time Of Hate

Espionage and brotherhood mix in 1920s tale of returning
African-American soldiers

It’s the Roaring ‘20s, a time of the Teapot Dome scandal, Ku Klux Klan
dominance and the return of 200,000 African-American soldiers from the
trenches of World War I.
Arelya Mitchell, publisher of The Mid-South Tribune in Memphis, says:
Blood and Brotherhood is a rare novel you’d like to reread, “because
like with any classic, you can always go back and salivate on that
perfect blend of characters, symbolic nuances and delectable
intrigue.”

MANY THANKS...

Just a Season is a luminous story into the life of a man who, in the midst of pain and loss, journeys back in time to reexamine all the important people, circumstances, and intellectual fervor that contributed to the richness of his life. “Just a Season” is not a story that you will read rather it is one that you will live. This is not His-Story, it is our story that reflects the audacity of hope and will most assuredly touch every emotion as you travel through time reliving a life through the eyes of the character.

One of my reviews wrote:

"Not since The Color Purple have I read a book that evoked such emotions. John T. Wills possesses the ability to transport the reader directly into the life and struggles of his main characters story. I was educated in a way that did not afford me the benefit of truly understanding the significance of the historical events taught from a standalone perspective. This book actually touched my heart and inspired me to increase the equity in my "dash"! Excellent -- Tonja Covington

Lost Hours

On Father-s Day 1982, a twelve year old was blamed for the multiple stabbing death of his father. The boy had no memory of doing it. He was convicted of murder and sentenced to two years at a mental hospital. Twenty-three years later, now a private detective and a father, his son is the same age he was when he was accused of murder. This prompts Joseph Hooks to discover what really happened that day two decades ago. Did he kill his own father or did something else happen?

As he searches for the truth, he must deal with an uncooperative Detroit police force, rekindle strained relationships with his siblings, protect his loved ones from the threats of a mysterious stranger and live with the knowledge his estranged wife is sleeping with another man.

Finding out the truth might prove deadly.

FLOSS by Monica Marie Jones

In the world we live in people are divided into three main social classes...the upper class, the middle class and the lower class. In Detroit and other cities like it, a fourth social class has emerged in the minds of those who occupy it. Unlike the other classes, the fourth is more of an active state of being. It is a verb. People in this class act out and represent what it means. The fourth class is called FLOSS.

Friends since childhood, Abel, Solomon, and Jabez strive to climb the social ladder. Cousins Dionysus and Torah strive to climb that same ladder, but they would much rather travel on the backs of men like Abel, Solomon and Jabez. Tyse wants to climb that ladder as well in the company of men like Abel, Solomon and Jabez while attracting women like Torah and Dionysus.

When the worlds of these six socialites collide and become intertwined the outcome is scandalous. Will the controversies that they encounter be worth the cost that it takes to FLOSS?

Just as she begins to enjoy life as a slim girl she gains the weight back during her college years.
